Windows 10: Windows 10 no longer asks to save passwords; can't find setting to turn option back oni.

I believe someone in family checked the "Never" option when asked to whether Edge should offer a suggested password. I can't turn the "Offer to save passwords" option back on - can find no place in Edge settings where that option occurs. Is that a registry type of setting?

To assist you better, I would like to ask for which websites are you facing this issue.

I would like to inform that if we select “No” when a prompt is provided to save password for a particular website and a particular login, then it will not ask for the prompt again. To undo this, follow the steps below:

• Open Microsoft Edge.
• Click on the options (…) icon and select
  Settings.
• Click on Advanced settings.
• Click on Manage my saved passwords under Offer to save passwords.
• Close the website for which the prompt is not offered to save password and check for status.

Turn On or Off Offer to Save Passwords in Microsoft Edge


I just finished some testing, and when you say "No" to saving password for a site, it will add the site to the "Manage passwords" list.

Deleting the site from the list will normally have Microsoft Edge ask you to save the password again afterwards.

If you haven't already, double check the list to make sure all instances of the site has been deleted, or delete all saved passwords to start fresh.

Bitlocker not asking for password set up

I have the same problem as David with bitlocker set-up not asking me for a password. Following the instructions in the article suggested by Jennifer does not help as it assumes that I will be prompted to enter a password - the set up skips that step going
straight to the options for saving the recovery key. Once (supposedly) encrypted, I can restart my computer without having to enter anything apart from my microsoft password so I do not have any additional security at all.
