    Windows 10 no longer working


    Hi! I'm not tech savvy at all so please excuse any stupid things that I appear to say : I have been using Windows 10 for over a year now - all installed when I bought the desktop. All of a sudden I have problems opening links in my emails, I have messages saying "Activate Windows" and I can't, messages saying the Firewall is off but can't turn it on, I can't connect my camera to download. The person who owned the computer shop sold the shop to someone else and he couldn't care less. He offered to re-install Windows 10 for around 30 euros but I just don't trust anyone anymore. Please help!! :

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
