    Windows 10 NOT Detecting VGA Display at Boot (so no screen at all)


    i have kindly been given a newish fully working windows 10 base PC unit for my kids to use for school / college work.


    However when i connect the old and fully wirking VGA display to the new windows 10 base pc unit NOTHING is detected so i have no screen or display to be abke to do anything or troubkeshoot anything...


    what do i do to firce windows 10 to detect and output to the VGA display ?

  2. Laptop display does not detect itself

    Hi,

    In regards to your concern, since the second screen can't detect the display settings of your other laptop, we suggest that you perform the steps below and see if it helps:

    • Go to Settings.
    • Click on System.
    • Under System, choose Display.
    • Under Multiple displays, click on Duplicate these displays and apply.

    After a week of working fine, I now have no display. I have tried several monitors with no luck. Monitor has message: no VGA detected.

    Is there anything I can do while waiting for seller's support tech to reply?

    It is important that you have the correct screen display and resolution. We suggest that you perform the following steps to reset the monitor settings:

    • Boot your computer in
      safe mode
      .
    • Once in safe mode, right-click the desktop > Screen Resolution.
    • Change the display settings back to the original configuration.
    • Restart your computer.
