Windows 10: Windows 10 not playing 5.1 sound

    Well, we ain't done yet Windows 10 not playing 5.1 sound :). Go back to control panel, then System and Security, then System. On the left column, click Advanced System Settings. In the window that opens, click the hardware tab. Then the Device Installation Settings box. Then click "No, let me choose what do", Then click "Never install driver software from Windows Update" and save changes. That will keep Windows 10 from install it's own device drivers, overwriting the manufacturer driver you installed and breaking it again.
