When using Windows 10 mail Client with a gmail account I have reason to use 1kb files - When attached to mail and viewed in Win10 its not there when I open the same email in Google-gmail client its there and can be downloaded . . This would seem to be a Windows Mail 10 Client issue

    :)

Ok, let's see it with pictures step-by-step. First right-click on the USB device and select Update driver software:

Click next/OK as required to complete installation. Repeat the steps for all Intel USB devices. Finally click on each USB root device and press DEL to delete it, reply YES when asked. After deleting all USB root devices restart the computer.

I hope this is detailed enough...

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
