Windows 10: Windows 10 Office 2013 upgrade issue

Hi all. I have been running into an issue where Office deactivates after upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 10 on workstations. The trouble is most of my customers don't have the original key card for Office 2013 and generally Office 2013 won't tie into a Microsoft account when they purchased the computer. I can generally get the key for Office 2010 and below. 2016 and above generally isn't an issue because it forced you tie the installation to a Microsoft account.

Microsoft Office 2013 & Windows 10 upgrade

Hi,

Do you have the installation media and product key for the Office 2013.

Incase you are unable to find the office 2013 listed under program features in Window 10, then you would need to re-install it.

Office 2013 issues, upgraded to Office 2016...


Since upgrading my main desktop to Windows 10, I began having trouble with my Office 2013 installation. I would get the "swirling circle" and the "application has stopped responding" error messages very frequently. I was able to buy the Office 2016 suite for $10 through my employer (Microsoft HUP) and since upgrading the application, I have not seen the error. Of course, I've only had Office 2016 on my PC for one day, so I'll keep checking to see if the problem returns. Has anyone else had issues with Office 2013 and Win10? Thanks!
