Windows 10: Windows 10 One drive Errors

I have a relatively new PC laptop running windows 10 and I use Onedrive to back up my desktop/documents/pictures. A few months ago I was restoring pictures and downloaded a very large file to my pc. I didn't intend for it to be uploaded to Onedrive however it attempted to back it up automatically. This obviously caused a lot of issues since the file was massive. It was at this point that red x's appeared on Documents, Desktop and Picture files in my file explorer.


The file was deleted shortly after off of my pc and I assumed off of OneDrive, however the red x's still remain. I've tried refreshing file explorer, restarting, decoupling my Onedrive, and so on but nothing has worked thus far.


I don't know why this is still since the file has been deleted and I'm not close to capacity on my Onedrive.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
