Windows 10: only have built-in administrator account?

So yesterday i installed windows 10 on my computer and ofcourse i kept all my files.

So i logged in to a microsoft account in order to use the app store.
But when i looked, windows also used that microsoft account as email adres and name of my windows account on my pc.
But i used my brothers email-adress, so it had the wrong name.

There no option to actually log out of that specific account. So via cmd.exe i turned the built-in administrator account on and i copied all my files from the 1st account to the built-in account and removed the 1st account.

But now I don't know how to make a normal account, since this built-in account doesn't let you use edge or the app store.

When i go to settings --> account and click on "other users", it gives me the option to add someone else to this pc.
But when i click that, a window pops-up but closes itself after a less than 1 seconds.

    Can anyone please help me?
I geuss the screen closes because this is the built-in account, so it's the same reason why i can't open edge etc.

But how do i create another account?
Do i just go into c:/users and add another account and copy all my stuff in there?

    ps.
sorry for my english, not a native speaker.

    :)

  2. Built in Administrator my only Profile. Cannot apply another use account.

I don't know what to do or where to begin as I am very confused. I had an admin account and my Hotmail account as users. My Hotmail account held almost all my file from Win 7 after update, I needed my Microsoft account info / password to open it. The admin
account had only my desktop program short cuts on it. No saved to desktop PDF`s or anything else. Plus all the folders inside where empty and all the files from my Libraries options from Win 7 were gone or scrambled even my Drop Box stuff. I assigned the admin
a password and logged back to the Hotmail user to see what was available.

Yesterday while on my desktop checking my files, we lost power for 1/2 an hour. When I restarted my desktop it opened fine, gave me both options to log on with. I used the Hotmail account and got a black screen. No widows 10 icon or notification icon on
either lower corners. I powered off and re-started it and chose the admin account and it was fine, or still missing all my saved info. But it gave me my desktop screen and I could access apps, power options the whole nine yards. I shut it down and restarted
and went back to the Hotmail user and the same thing happened. But after 2-3 minutes it showed the onscreen keyboard half my desktop icons and short cuts. The Windows icon would not function with mouse clicks, but would change to blue from the onscreen keyboard
or my wired key board. That was all it did....I did a system restore from the admin account and that got both accounts to load but the contain in the Hotmail account was destroyed.

Today after work I removed the Hotmail account and all the files and was going to and a new user from accounts> settings> family other user. It let me delete the Hotmail account and all my info was trashed so I did not care. But now it does nothing, I click
on the "Add someone else to this PC box and the little blue circle just spins till I bump the mouse.

So I cannot use any apps now or even get to the Store because I am only the built in admin user. How can this be fixed or should I just go back to Windows 7 and say to **** with Win 10. I am so confused and pissed it is not funny. My laptop is fine and was
turned off when the power went out, but to add another user I did on it in minutes. This is doing nothing. Help please.

  3. Built in Administrator my only Profile. Cannot apply another use account.

    Hi,

We regret the inconvenience caused. We understand the frustration if things are not working as expected.

This issue may arise if your account is corrupted.

I suggest you to try to add your Hotmail account by following steps and check if it helps,

    1. Press Windows logo key on your keyboard

    2. Click on Settings

    3. Select Accounts

    4. Click Your info

    5. And click on Sign in with Microsoft account

And try to sign and check if it helps.

If the issue persists, refer to the below link and refer to the suggestion provided by Andre Da Costa on February 9, 2015.

How to: connect to a Microsoft Account in Windows 10

Hope this information helps. Please let us know whether you are able to add account successfully by trying provided steps.

What happens when you search for and then run netplwiz? Can you add an account from there?

If not, run a command prompt as administrator and you can use:
    net user username password /ADD

    and then

    net localgroup administrators username /ADD

obviously substitute the desire local username and password in those fields, unless you want to create an account named username Windows 10: only have built-in administrator account? :)

I am referring to the built-in admin account not having access to edge.
