    Hello everyone!

I've had this issue for ages. Thing is, I thought that ever since I had Windows 10, putting 2 different backgrounds for 2 screens wasn't possible anymore, until my boyfriend made me aware that it indeed still works. (I was lazy and just left it at that)

Thing for me is that my computer seems to only recognize 1 monitor when trying to change backgrounds, and that's why it doesn't work.

It's not the NVIDIA drivers since I've had this for ages, and in the meantime I had it reinstalled multiple times.

Everything else works fine! Windows identifies both screens just fine. No issues with gaming/streaming or anything either.

It's just the background that doesn't want to work.

    Looks like this.

    Thanks for all help!

Note: The above steps holds good for Windows 10 as well.

I hope this information is helpful.

Windows 10 only recognizes 1 monitor?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
