    Windows 10 - Open Windows Fly Across Screen??


    I'm using W10 1909 on a gaming PC with a 49" Samsung widescreen monitor. And using a bluetooth 3.0 keyboard with touchpad. Due to the screen size, I like to position open windows like file explorer in the centre of the screen so easy to read etc.

    I am finding that with the touchpad, when I move the cursor with my finger, open windows on the screen have the habit of flying to the bottom left corner near the start button.

    I can retrieve the open window with Alt+Tab, but it is all rather annoying.

    I am trying to use light finger tip pressure on the touchpad and am definitely not "tap and dragging".

    Just after any ideas for a solution??

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
