    Hello, I recently decided to hook up my Packard Bell PC with Windows 10 on it after finding it. After plugging everything in, my PC started up and suddenly, it just restarted and it went in a loop. I used the OFFICAL Media Creation Tool and put it on to my USB. After plugging my USB in to my PB PC, it was going through the setup (pretty quick to be honest) and then it booted up to finish the setup. However it was stuck on the "Getting ready" message and so far nothing has been happening. Anyone can help?

    Yeah my thoughts exactly! I haven't had a Packard Bell PC for over 10 years! I thought they went under for sure!

    Garb, I wish you luck with that, maybe clockgen can help, or getting a refund and building his new PC part by part on his budget, even if you can't get the better components for OC-ing it would be better than the Packard Bell. *Toast :toast:

    Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

    I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
