Windows 10: Windows 10 PC Black Screen Upon Startup

I can't get into my windows 10 pc. IT will say "preparing automatic repair, then show a black screen. I've tried making a USB using rufus to repair Windows 10, still black screen upon loading from usb. I cant get into safe mode, I cant boot at all. It gets to the splash screen and either endlessly loads or shows a black screen. It cant be a hardware issue since I've run self tests on my computer using the system diagnostic tools given by HP that can be used on startup. Can someone please help? I really dont want to bring my computer to someone only to pay $100. I want to fix this issue and fin a way myself!

  Are you getting black screen after Sign in?

Have you made any changes to your system prior to this issue?


I suggest you unplug all the external devices (except keyboard and mouse) connected to the system and restart it to check if it helps.
