  1. Windows 10 photo app

Can someone PLEASE explain how to control what the windows 10 photos app does? The continuous auto creating and dynamic movement is driving me up the wall.

So, I've created an album from a number of pics in folders on the computer (Win 10 tablet)

On the app front page it starts with the collections tab - and there's a link tile to the album I've created. When you hover over the tile it scrolls pics. I want to turn that OFF. I ONLY want the pic I have selected as the album image. How please?

When I click on albums, the album tile is there, along with what I have to assume is an auto created slide show under 'video projects'. I want to turn this feature OFF please. If I want a video of the still images I will create one.

When I hover over the tile, it zooms in on the picture. I want to turn this OFF. Static picture is sufficient.

When I click onto the tile to open the album, I get a slide show. WTF??? I have to manually stop it to scroll through the pics. PLEASE tell me how to turn off this auto created slide show? I've managed to turn the annoying music off, but I really don't want a slide show.

There MUST be a way to open an album, see the first pic in full screen and just simply scroll through them? ??

All I want to do is to be able to view pictures in a simple way. You would think that would be possible. Seems that windows 10 wants to take control and do everything for me. Please someone explain how I can get control back? Other than ditch this tablet and go back to an iPad, which does do everything I want simply.

    :)

    • Right click on the Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
