Help! In 12 hours Windows 10 has only uploaded 370 photos out of 1444, it would usually do this in minutes - whats going on? Please note that I am NOT tech savvy. I had gone through all of the photos before importing, which took ages, so don't really want to stop the process but do need to speed it up!

I had problems with it not being able to find the photos before hand over a couple of days - both phone & PC restarted a few times & it worked. Whole PC seems to be running slow

    :)

    Hi Alan,

To address your concern in importing your photos, here are the steps:

    • Plug your Android phone into your computer using a USB cable.
    • Ensure the phone is in MTP transfer mode and not charging mode.
    • Type or paste ‘phone’ into the Search Windows box.
    • Select Phone Companion and open the app.
    • Select Android within the app window.
    • Select the ‘Show’ text link at the very bottom of the next screen.
    • Select ‘Import photos and videos from the Photos app’ in the gray box that appears.
