    Windows 10 Photos

So I've been using Microsoftphotos.exe other wise known as windows photos to do a lot of my video editing.

I am just starting out posting vids on YouTube no where else and this is all I need for now.

I have noticed however that it does not include a fade in or a fade out.

I've given feedback to MS asking about this and thought why not ask about it. I know it is a free app and all.

I also know I could make a video that fades in and out but just seems like extra work and it wouldn't work with the other video. It'd still come in before the actual clip just pops into view. So that's not going to work either.

I thought well I can just do it from the very TV I use, just fade the entire screen in and then out easy done, but again that'll only work for THAT video.. no other.

So this feature would be a really nice addition to the photos app.

I'm a very creative person, I have a keen eye, so I know what makes for good footage, I know what does work and what will just look off, not right, when it comes to cinema.

I have been looking on and off, here and there when the need arises to find a fade in and out ah clip or something anything I can use to make this happen, only thing I have found was an online sort where it looks like you pretty much upload your video or you could just take a clip of the start and finish and do it that way then download it again.. and upload it AGAIN.. so.. eh no way too much work round for something that should be as simple as lowering the brightness and raising it again. Also I know I could do that, but there is no such feature like that in photos.

MS this is direct towards you, I find in your apps at least the 'free'.. ones, there are missing feature that can directly effect said user input.

Like there aren't any features that can drastically change say something a user inputs into the said app. Like video footage or a photo. Music etc.. not like there used ..to be.. heh hem.. 'Movie Maker'.

    Really that's too bad.

I won't download or get a free app of the net that has these because they likely have all kinds of malware.. and I test as in scan all and any thing I ever get even the URL's I go to to get said downloads, I do so with Virustotal.

pretty much 88.99% of the time the things I scan that one would~ get off the net has something popping up from at least one of the said engines out of what 72 that there are to detect if there is anything going on withing the code that seems 'phishy'.

So In those cases I again, I never bother with said 'free' apps.

Also paid for apps aren't much better, the free apps offer pretty or can offer just as much if not more sometimes than other big name brands can so there is no point in buying such an app when it can't even do something as simple as the free app can.

So yeah again, I really don't understand how just adding in a slider for total screen visibility can be that detrimental for windows home users to have in photos apps. Made pro has it, I wouldn't know and I'd think it should be for all and any windows users .. not just in pro versions.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
