Windows 10 Print Dialogue is in Japanese when opened through Photos app

The Windows 10 print dialogue has suddenly changed to Japanese and I cannot understand anything. It always used to be in English until today, and I did not change it or set any secondary languages on my system. This also only occurs in the Windows 10 Photos app, and is making printing images with the settings I need quite difficult.

Some additional background information that may be helpful:

    • I have had the Japanese Language Pack installed on my computer for several years now, as I need to use to input Japanese text through Microsoft IME. No other part of my computer has ever changed to Japanese, before or after installing the language pack until today where the Windows 10 print dialogue suddenly changed languages.
    • The options within the drop-down boxes are all in English, except for the menu items/names. See the screenshot below. Windows 10 Print Dialogue is in Japanese when opened through Photos app b47fa5cf-1881-4179-bf42-cbf64566e9a1?upload=true.png
    • The Print dialogue was opened through the Photos app. I tried it in another app that uses the Windows 10 print dialogue and it had the dialogue in English.

Are there any settings to change this back without uninstalling the Japanese Language pack, or do I have to uninstall the Photos app and reinstall it? Lastly, just out of curiosity and learning how did this occur in the first place?

    :)

  3. No color management in print dialogue box

Why is the critical step of removing all old printer drivers (Step 5) in the Printui dialogue the same as Step 6 right clicking the printer in Devices and Printers to delete it and restart PC?

After you install the printer software in Print 8 you did a lot of other things with a Desktop app that are not in the list and unneeded. Why were these necessary instead of just selecting a .pdf document to print and trying it?

The reason I ask is that I've suggested these steps countless times and they have always worked if only they are followed, not adding a bunch of steps at the end.

    I hope this helps.
