Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro 1607 failed to update to version 1804

Windows 10 Pro Version 1607 OS Build 14393.2214 failed to update to Version 1804 after about 8 hours of installation process. Update started with Windows 10 Update Assistant.


What happend and how to update Windows? Can anyone help?

Unable to update Window 10 Pro version 1607 to version 1709

Have made several attempts to update Windows 10 version 1607 to the latest version 1709 and have not been successful.

I've done the following per some suggestions found online:

• Updated drivers
• Ran the Trouble Shooter for Windows 10 (Errors found were shown to be "Fixed" per the tool)
• Unplugged the printer
• Ran the DISM.exe

Although not at every attempt, I have received the following errors:

• 0xc1900101 - 0x30018
• 0x900704c7

Can someone please advise me as to what the errors are and provide me with the steps to update Windows.

windows 10 - version 1607 updates failed for over a year

windows 10 - 1607 version will not accept updates since anniversary issue in 2017. I called Microsoft twice and their options have failed both times ...Any suggestions?

 

Windows 10 update version 1607 fails

Windows 10 update version 1607 fails repeatedly. The update is downloaded and installation reaches 71%, then the spinner stops and computers freezes. I had to Force shutdown, then computer restores previous version of Windows. I run Windows 10 Pro 64 bit,
Version 1511, OS Build 10586.545. Is there any workaround for this? Thank you in advance.
