Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro 1903 rebooting almost randomly

I started having some problems with Windows 10 in my PC. The first thing I noticed, was a reboot from some specific CPU and GPU loads; for example a CPU load in the program CPU-Z at the bench tab caused a reboot always, but a CPU stress test from prime95 never caused a reboot. Also watching videos in youtube caused a reboot after some minutes, but I can play League of Legends without any problems, not like Cities Skylines that always reboots the system after some minutes playing. All the reboots have some pattern, but never caused a BSOD.

Also the PC started having some problems at boot, sometimes it reboots in the loading screen, on the login screen and at the desktop some seconds/minutes after introducing the credentials for my account.

I have Windows 10 since the Insiders Preview, and I had to disable Fast Startup because the PC rebooted instead of shutting down when I selected that option. I tested this with the current build 1903 and also the previous 1807 (both clean installs) with my SSD and the HDD from my laptop, both have this problem. I used my SSD in my laptop end everything worked fine (no random reboots and shuts down properly). I also did a clean install of an old Windows 10 (build 1507, maybe 1511) and I didn't have to disable Fast Startup to shut down my PC without problems.

Windows 10 pro winver 1903

Hi ,

After downloading the latest windows that is 1903 its showing some updates but not able to download from "check for update".

Also tried the creation media but not succeed. I tired all the steps which are available on block like enable disable and restarting services. Last night i spoke to Microsoft representative over the call and given the remote access she did some troubleshooting
steps and kept windows 10 pro on download and ask me to installed it after download completion i have done that but even some of software and in pending download list.

please suggest me for this issue asap.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows 10 freezes randomly

I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin
