Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro - 64 bit - After version 2004, my laptop run very slow

I updated version 2004 on 17/10/2020.

Worked ok right after the update but the following day the computer became very slow.


Task manager's scroll bar glitch whenever I scrolled it up and down.

My games ran with only 1 to 5 FPS 60FPS before update.

Any task except system task only load with 0,1MB/s diskspeed.


I had rolled back to version 1909 but the problems still remained.


Has anyone an idea to solve this problem ?

I don't have better steps - this is all, I have nothing to add.

Maybe it is worth noting issue was on Windows 10 Enterprise, build 14393.187, so maybe you should test on the same.
My other PCs have a different Windows 10 version - Pro, latest Insider Preview build from last week, and there is no such issue on those.
All are 64-bit edition of Windows 10.

This issue is not new. I have had same 1-2 years ago too, with older GPU-Z versions.

EDIT: And yes, I have Windows 10 UAC enabled and set to defaults. If you are using your Windows PCs with UAC off, you likely cannot reproduce this issue. *Smile

 

Windows 10 pro 64 bit

Is your laptop 32 bit CPU or 64 bit . If your laptop is a 32 bit you will be unable to run Windows 10 64 bit. The reason I ask is that you upgraded from a 32 bit Windows 7 to 32 bit Windows 10. If it is 64 bit you can run a 32 bit

version of Windows but not the other way.
