    Windows 10 Pro, automatic updates


    I have just installed Windows 10 Pro on my laptop. I have Windows 10 Home on another laptop and have been able to
    set my wifi connection as a metered connection to stop the automatic updates but I can't find this option on
    the Pro version. What am I missing?
    Is there a way to stop the automatic updates with this version?

    Microsoft Apps and Microsoft programs are they updated in Windows 10 pro

    I notice the apps can be updated by their versions numbers. the need for Microsoft

    securitys for all Microsoft activities programs and apps are they automatic updated into our

    windows 10 pro.? I've also notice that there are only Window updates for Windows 10 pro on the automatic updates

    settings.

    Upgrade from Win7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro.

    Updated 4 Dell machines from Win7 Pro to Windows 10 and one from Win. 8.1 Pro to Win 10. All 5 only updated to windows 10 Home instead of Pro. Should they not have been automatically updated to Windows 10 Pro? If so, what's the fix.

    I highly recommend AGAINST doing this. Updates are ALWAYS good, and you do not want to disable them for any reason. The disabling of updates can result in a compromised system.

    This only disables automatic updates. You will still be able to manually check for and install updates when you like instead of Windows automatically installing them.

    Since I have a limited metered connection, I prefer to hold off on the updates until I can get to the public library with my laptop.
    I am not opposed to updates, only to the option of the 'automatic' update feature.
    Edit : I cannot find the Local Group Policy Editor on my Windows 10 Pro?

    Success; Finally got it using the Option 1 from here.
