    Windows 10 Pro crash after May update


    Hi, I have Mini PC ACEPC AK2. After last update it did not start. I get blue screen saying Windows needs repair. And I will need Windows installation disk. I have downloaded Windows tool from your web site and created installation USB. When I plug it in, nothing is happening. I did set up BIOS to boot from USB first. USB stick Sandisk 120 GB.

    If you need me to provide more details, just let me know.

    And is there some way how I can contact somebody from Microsoft directly. I would like to solve my issue.

    Mafia 2 crashes on Windows 10

    oki another update, weird I cloned my Windows 8.1 Pro to another SSD, after that I upgraded it to Windows 10 Pro and now Mafia 2 runs no issues no crashes so far

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

    Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

    I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.
