Windows 10: Windows 10 PRO Evaluation copy

The Lenovo computer I have came with win 8.1 installed and it automatically upgraded to win 10 close to 2 years ago. Before that time I had signed up for the insider program on a older computer but I thought I had turned it off.

Back in June of this year I had been having problems with win 10 and had to do a reinstall. After the reinstall the insider program showed back up and prompted me to update. I was still having strange problems so I thought I would give it a try again. It changed me from win 10 Home to a evaluation copy of win 10 PRO version 1803. This has been a problem with several things mainly that LMIR is not working on it.
Version 1803 became a release version last week but LMIR was still not working. This week the insider updated me to ver 1809 which has had a blue screen and restarted me 3 times. Yesterday I reverted back to 1803 and lost almost everything I had installed back in june. The warning when doing the reset only listed 5 programs( which were not that important to me) that I would loose but instead I lost almost everything almost like I had done a complete reinstall. The things that I cannot do without (in this order) are VB6, SQL server & SSMS, multiple display in the extend mode

I need to get off os what is on here now and I think my options are:

1) Go all the way back to Win 8

2) Go back to Win 10 older version but I dont even know what ver I was on that was working. VB6 had some problems installing but finally did.

3) Win 10 home latest stable ver which I assume is 1809. Not sure if LMIR will run on this or not.

Windows 10 Pro insider Preview Evaluation copy build 10565!

This is with reference to the question been asked by Nikola Mijatovic on October 13, 2015 (windows 10 pro insider preview evaluation copy build 10565 watermark ?).

I have installed windows updates this morning, and all of a sudden, the Windows 10 Pro label has been changed to
Windows 10 Pro insider Preview Evaluation copy. Moreover, I checked the activation status of this windows evaluation copy using
winver and it says that the validity expires on July 16, 2016. I upgraded from windows 8 to windows 10, and believed that the upgrade was life time (in other words, free). Does this mean that I have to buy a new activation key?

WINDOWS 10 PRO INSIDER PREVIEW EVALUATION COPY BUILD 10162

I have tried everything! I had windows 8.1 valid copy....downloaded windows 10 pro insider preview evaluation copy build 10162...now I can't upgrade to the windows 10...wants a valid product key....I also can not go back to another version of windows for
the same reason?? When I tried to go to windows 10 upgrade wanted a valid key with no option of skipping this step to activate later? How can I go back to windows 8.1 without having to purchase a new activation key?

I also tried to do a recovery...no save point apparently?
