  1. Windows 10 PRO - Issues with Search and Index Functions

I am running Windows 10 Pro, Version 1909 Build 18363.778. I have been having issues with the search function not working correctly so I tried to correct this by going into the Search Searching Windows settings to access Advanced Search Indexer Settings and to Run the indexer troubleshooter to resolve common search issues.

When I run the "Advanced Search Indexer Settings" I receive the following error:

Windows 10 PRO - Issues with Search and Index Functions ef6ce01d-8980-4ec7-8b0b-86ee0f5ae4c1?upload=true.jpg

When I try to Run the indexer troubleshooter to resolve common search issues I receive the following error:

Windows 10 PRO - Issues with Search and Index Functions e4c00421-1da8-4b0c-8def-b3af510bede8?upload=true.jpg

Here is what I have done to try to correct this issue so far:

1 - I have downloaded a Windows 10 ISO from Microsoft and done an upgrade to repair the installation while preserving files, apps and settings.

2 - I have gone run DISM witht the CheckHealth, ScanHealth and RestorHealth settings

3 - I have run SFC /Scannow three times with no issues detected.

4 - I have used the Group Policy Editor to enabled Scripted Diagnostics Policy all 3 settings

5 - I have validated that the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WinTrust\Trust Providers\Software Publishing registry setting is set to 23c00

6 - I have validated that the Cryptographic Services is running and is set to automatically start.

7 - I have downloaded and run the Microsoft .Net repair tool.

8 - After all of the above, I ran SFC /Scannow again with no issues detected.

None of this has helped. Everything other than the search function is working fine with the computer.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Dave

    :)
