Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro KB4565503 not installing

    Windows 10 Pro KB4565503 not installing


    I have had numerous failures with the install of KB4565503 with generic error 0x8000ffff. Viewing the update history shows failures dating back to 19 July. I have downloaded the update manually but when I double click on the msu installer it tells me that KB4565503 is already installed. If I search to uninstall KB4565503 it finds no matches - i.e. it is not installed.


    Any ideas how to progress from here please. My system is Windows 10 Pro 2004 build 19041.388

    Clean Windows 10 (?PRO?) install

    I have bought a legit "Windows 10 Pro" key of a key website. It is legit since i'm currently using it for over a year now. I currently have Windows 10 Pro installed on my PC and I want to do a clean install. I just can't find the windows 10 Pro download in the tool. But if i could use a windows 10 pro key with a normal windows 10 install, I'll be good to go.

    But I'd be happy to be wrong.
