Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro N Activation

I recently downloaded a copy of the windows 10 iso from the microsoft website and chose to install Windows 10 Pro N. My issue at this point is trying to get it activated. I've bought activation keys but they refuse to work. Is the activation of this version of Windows region locked to Europe since that's the only region this version of Windows is sold? I'd like to hold on to this version of the OS if I can.

I've recently bought a Windows 10 pro activation key after downloading and installing Windows 10 pro N. I've not managed to activate windows and so I'd like to know if Microsoft has specific keys for Windows 10 pro N or if a normal Windows 10 pro key should
work on the pro N edition?

If it is the case that Windows 10 pro N has specific activation keys, is there an easy way to swap between editions?

Yes, Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Pro N use their own unique keys and you can't activate either if you don't have the specific key.

How to upgrade and activate Windows 10 Home N to Windows 10 Pro N?

So I installed Windows 10 Home N in a VM but have not activated it yet. After a couple of weeks configuring and testing the VM, I found I
needed some pro features so I would like to upgrade to that. I bought an
OEM Windows 10 Pro N key. So is there a way I can upgrade and activate Windows 10 Home N
to Windows 10 Pro N with my OEM Windows 10 Pro N key? If so how?

When I go to the Activation screen under Settings --> Update & Security, I see two potential options; CHANGE PRODUCT KEY or ACTIVATE. My guess would be to change the product key, but I want to make the right choice…
