    Windows 10 Pro No Lockscreen Notifcations after KB5004237 update


    I suspect the Windows 10 Cumulative update KB5004237 released on July 13, 2021 could break the Lock screen notifications such as detailed weather or mail and app quick status. Media playback notification is ok. such as playing a YT video then locking the PCMost Google & YouTube searches about this problem shows results that are very irrelevant, such as simple tutorial guides to enable or disable Lock screen detailed & quick status. I already know how to use it.I suspected other things that could break the feature but I'm sure it doesn't make any sense such asWindows 10 Pro No Lockscreen Notifcations after KB5004237 update :Device Lockdown Wind

    Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

    Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

    Change lockscreen via GPO. Windows 10 Pro 1607

    Hey,

    I have a problem with the latest version of Windows 10 Pro (1607)

    In earlier versions you could change the lockscreen picture via GPO, it seems that option has been removed from pro with the latest update, it can still be done if you have Enterprise but not with Pro. Has anyone found a way to do this?

    We have to do this via either GPO or from a script (We use SCCM)

    Suggestions?
