    I recently reinstalled Windows 10 Home and I wanted to use my recently purchased upgrade to Windows 10 Pro from Microsoft Store, but product doesn't exists anymore. What can I do? I already tried to contact Microsoft Store support with no success to communicate by phone.

    No product key after Windows 10 purchase

    Hi Chris,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

    • How did you upgrade to windows 10?
    • Have you done clean install?
    • Are you getting any error message?
    • From where have you purchased the Windows 10?
    If you have purchased from online Microsoft store or any store I suggest you to contact them for the product key.

    Please do let us know with more information, so that we can assist you better.

    Is there a "retail" version of Windows 10 available for purchase?


    If you buy Windows 10 from Microsoft Store, it is the retail version if it is not specifically mentioned it is an OEM version. You can get it on USB if you need physical install media instead of an ISO. The original Microsoft Windows 10 USB install media contains both bit versions.



    At the moment Microsoft does not directly sell OEM or System Builder versions to consumers. You can buy OEM for instance from Newegg: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-bit - Newegg.com ($139.99 + $2.99 shipping)
