  1. Windows 10 Pro Version 2004 Build 19041.804 killing my removable drives?

I have a Windows 10 Pro Version 2004 Build 19041.804 computer that I built myself about 10 months ago Asus Prime X570-Pro motherboard, 32gb Corsair ram, Samsung 870 EVO Pro M.2 SSD, Gigabyte Geforce 2070 etc and I have a Syba USB 3 hard drive dock picture below and since my system was updated to 2004 if I have one or more hard drives in the Syba dock and the computer updates and reboots the hard drives are in some cases irreparably damaged, the filesystem is damaged or corrupted and now it's twice that I've had two 6tb data drives damaged and 5-6TB of data lost. Two things I need help with, first why in gods name is this happening and how do I stop it from happening again because before the 2004 update this never happened I've been using this hard drive dock for 3-4 years and no problems until recently and second is there a way to repair the file system / mft to get the data back? In both cases the 6TB hard drives say in Disk Management "5589.01 GB NTFS Healthy Basic Data Partition" but when I go to the drives assigned letter in File Explorer I get the message "Access Denied" so I'm not sure what happened but the data on the drive is in accessible? Can this be fixed and if so how?

Windows 10 Pro Version 2004 Build 19041.804 killing my removable drives?

windows build 2004 version not showing in system information page

    Hi Viray

Rest assured, that is as expected, and that information is consistent, though it is confusing, because that label is wrong in the System Information page, that should be labelled Build No, not Version No.

Windows 10 has version No.s and Build No's, Version 2004 of Windows 10 is Build No. 19041, Version 1909 of Windows is Build No. 18363 and so on . . .

Basically the Version No, refers to the month and Year of the release, and the Build No, is the compiled version of Windows 10 . . .

While the Version No, will stay the same after a Feature Update is installed, when you then install cumulative updates between versions, the Build No will change
