Windows 10 Pro x64: Mount ISO file fails after update from v.1809 to v.1903

A few days ago I updated my Windows 10 Pro x64 system from v. 1809 to v.1903. I performed the update by using the Media Creation Tool and selecting the option to create an ISO file. I then used Windows Explorer to Mount the ISO file on a virtual volume. That done, I then started the upgrade installation of v. 1903 by running Setup.exe., The upgrade process proceeded without a hitch, and an hour later I was using the new Windows 10 version.

Today I attempted for the first time on the newly upgraded Windows 10 to mount another ISO file by the same method. The Mount selection was present in the file's context menu, as expected, but when I clicked on Mount, there was a l-o-n-g pause (more than two minutes) while the pointer turned into a busy hourglass. Eventually it gave an error message: Sorry there was a problem mounting the file (see attached file: Sorry.jpg).

    Additional information:

    1. The very last act I performed on Win 10 v.1809 was to mount (successfully) the ISO file that accomplished the upgrade to v.1903.

    2. Win10 Home x86 v.1903, installed as a second OS on the same computer, has no problem with mounting an ISO file.

    3. I tried every method of fixing the failure to Mount as outined in the article "How to fix Windows 10 errors when mounting ISO files," located at https://windowsreport.com/windows-10-error-mounting-iso/. Nothing worked (except #7 in the article, which is a workaround, not a fix).

    4. My registry at \HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.iso has the correct entry as shown in #3 in the article -- namely, Default -- REG_SZ -- Windows.IsoFile.

I'm looking for useful information. There has to be a fix for this short of rolling back to the previous version.

    :)

Windows 10 1709 Hyper-V cannot use "Insert Disk" to mount ISO file

Maybe you need read my question carefully.

My question is not "File association may have caused this issue when you right click an ISO file and Mount does not show at top of list." AT ALL.

    It is related Hyper-V menu.

Hyper-V causing boot loop in Windows 10 Pro x64

After upgrading to Windows 10 x64 Pro from Windows 8.1 x64 Pro and activating Hyper-V in Windows 10 x64 Pro my computer reboots. After a couple of tries it goes in automatic repair and attempts to repair the startup. This cycle just repeats itself.
I tried many combinations of things in the bios, shutting down, reseting the defaults in bios and nothing has worked so far. I rolled back to Windows 8.1 Pro and Hyper-V works fine. I use Hyper-V with the emulators for phone and tablets in Visual Studio
2013 and 2015. Re installed the upgrade to Windows 10 Pro and activated Hyper-V and same reboot loop occurs. The only way I can boot into Windows 10 x64 Pro is disable Virtualization in bios. Anyone else having similar problems with hyper-V on Windows
    10 x64 Pro?

    Thanks for your help?
