Windows 10: Windows 10 question

Hi


I am thinking of building a new PC from scratch instead of using my laptop for games.

But will keep my laptop still.

Will take a while as buying bit by bit lol


Just got a couple of questions ready.


Once built...

If someone gives me their Windows 10 disk to install and start up windows on a new hard drive , can you buy a new Key through Microsoft? so know it is genuine. Or will I have to buy from a shop somewhere a boxed new CD?


Also I bought in Apr 2017 Office Home and Student 2016.

Is that for just 1, or 2 pc's?

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
