    Windows 10 randomly locks up

    Hi,

    I have a Windows 10 problem.

My PC is randomly locking up. Sometimes while using and sometimes while I am away. I have to power cycle to get it back. There is no responses to mouse or keyboard.

I have been trying to troubleshoot this issue, and only have the event files to look at. No dump files or anything else seem to be available.

If there is other log files that could help, please let me know and I will post.

I know this is like finding a "needle in a hay stack" scenario, but hopefully some of you smart people have an idea.

There seems to be a couple of events that happen withing close proximity of the lock up.

I will paste the event log here:

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
