    Windows 10 Re Activation Tip

If you have an already activated copy of Windows 10 it is a very good idea that you create a Microsoft Account from your activated computer. By doing this your activated device is saved to your Microsoft account and if you have to reinstall your OS for any reason it makes reactivating simple. All you have to do is sign into your Microsoft account and verify your identity and your installation will be reactivated.

If you plan on making big hardware changes I suggest using the Steps recorder to record the steps you take on your computer before you shut down to make your repair or what not. Use sticky notes to make a note on screen that says something to the effect of "Documentation of Activated Windows , Preparing to replace motherboard". Save your recorded Steps Video to your One Drive folder. Now you have proof of an activated install on your computer to use in the event you need to contact Microsoft because your hardware isn't recognized as the same machine. You can allow a remote connection from Microsoft in which you can show previously saved Steps record and the tech can look in your Registry and other places to verify that it is the same computer just different hardware.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

DOWNLOAD WINDOWS 10 NOW - Upgrade and ISO direct from microsoft

Click to expand... Yeah I went to that site, why do I need to buy a key?
    I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
    is that causing the problem?
