    Windows 10 re-install not losing pictures


    Hello! Hopefully someone can help me....


    I have read the majority of links similar to what i need..and i think...or thought i was close and now i am stuck.


    Long story short....i have attempted everything to try to repair windows to no avail. A fresh/re-install looked to be my only option. I was going to remove my hard drive to save all my pictures which is all that matters to me. but read i could keep files if i did a custom install...but now i think i didnt understand that correctly? is this only if i am upgrading? so no i am stuck at the screen where do you want to install windows where i understand i can delete these partitions and reinstall windows...but if i am not wanting to lose my pictures...what option do i have now? should i stop this install and go back to my original plan and pop open my laptop to get to the drive to remove pictures? i assume if i continue i lose everything....please advise...if i can exit and be ok...or do i have any hope after i continue?

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Quick Access not searching Pictures folder


    Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

    • I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.


    • Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.
    That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

    Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.
