Windows 10: windows 10 recovery disc

Hi All,
I have a windows 10 disc created from Windows 10 installation media tool (https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/soft...oad/windows10) my question is can i use that ISO to recover another persons PC? or is there compatibility issues based from my PC? TIA

Windows 10 Recovery Disc to DVD

I've searched through multiple topics about creating a recovery disc in Windows 10 but have never found an answer on to to create the recovery disc to a DVD instead of a USB drive.

I've tried to create the disc on Windows 10 already but it only gives an option to create a recovery disc to a USB drive and not a DVD.

 

You can use that disk on any machine thats compatible with windows 10 as they activate with a digital licence I believe *Smile.

 

The only issue you may have is with the actual version of Windows 10 you both have, and the version of the installer you have, some installers contain multiple versions and will install the correct version based on the Digital Licence allocated on Microsoft's servers some installers are just a single version so if you have Home and your Friend has Pro, then you may have an issue
