  2. If it's released on April 10th I think I'll pass until the 11th. The 10th is my birthday and I want to have a relaxing day and not one wherein I'm saying $@rt! &u*^@!!! to this pile of silicon and bits.

That's precisely why I suggested the hemispherically equal name SNAFU way back in post 8!

SNAFU = Spring Northern & Austral Fall Update

I trust I don't need to explain the alternative military meaning.

Is there any thread to discuss Windows 10 version 1803 yet? Or only when it gets generally available? Any official release date?

Last we heard the 10th, look for the announcement in the Windows 10 News subforum that will be the first other than this one. Depending on issues other threads will develop.

Do you really mean 1809, the one that will come in October, RS5? If so, that's not anywhere near ready for release yet. The 'skip ahead' Insider builds leading up to it are already being discussed, the thread discussing the latest build is here...
Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Skip Ahead Build 17639 - April 4

If you mistyped and meant 1803, expected to be released on Tuesday, then that too is still an Insider build, but it's in the Release Preview stage and the current build 17133.1 is almost certainly going to be the official release, immediately followed by a cumulative update with the last minute bug fixes. That's being discussed here...
Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Fast/Slow/RP Build 17133 Apr. 5

Brink will of course start a new thread when 1803, the Spring Creators update is launched. No doubt that will attract a lot of discussion too. *Smile

Thanks for the replies, guys. Actually, I have already updated to version 1803 via ESD>ISO method, and the RTM build is indeed 17133.1. I would like to ask a few minor questions about the update, so I'll just wait for the official thread to be created once the update is officially released.

By the way, is discussing ESDs illegal here, even if they are downloaded from official Microsoft servers? Afaik, they are as legit as using Media Creation Tool to download Win10 installation images.

For 1703 the MCT had been leaked a week before launch and I read that tip here *Smile This time it's so close to 'launch day' I think I'll just wait for a couple more days. As I said, your 17133.1 is almost certain to be identical to the one I will get on Tuesday.
