Windows 10: Windows 10 refuses to activate?

Good afternoon, Microsoft Community.


I'm Chris, and I have a Lenovo Ideapad 120S-11IAP running Windows 10 10856 November Update - NU, which don't ask me to update, as I'm doing something about the version that I'm on right now. But it was activated and everything was perfectly fine, but as of 25/03/2021 at 8:13 AM, it switched from being Activated to being Unactivated, and it won't let me activate. I signed in with my Microsoft Account to see if it would activate if I have a digital product key on the account - yes I do have one btw. But no it didn't work and now I'm stuck with "Activate Windows" at the side of my screen, it is really annoying, plus I had to screen share for class and it was just embarrassing seeing that.


Help me fix this!

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?

From Why can't I activate Windows?

If you upgraded to Windows 10 for free and ended up in a non-activated state, try following these steps:

• Go to Start
  
  , then select Settings > Update & security > Activation.
• Select Go to Store, and check to see if a valid license is available for your device. If a license isn't available, you'll need to buy Windows from the Store.

or you could hack it with a crack but please note this is always risky and you don't know what's in the hack
