Windows 10: Windows 10 Reset My PC

Hi,


I have a couple of questions. I'm running very low on my C drive(Partitions were a mistake) and I'm not able delete anymore files in order to resolve the issue. Please answer thinking I have no idea on Windows restore.


1. My PC came with Windows 8 and IIhave upgraded 8.1 and then to 10. Will reset my PC take me back to v8.1?


2. If take a system image backup, will it backup only the OS or all the files on C Drive? If I want to back up only OS, is there any way to do it?


3. I have made partitions from my original C Drive, if I want to remove the Partitions using cmd, will it affect the OS? How do I avoid that?


4. Is current product key enough for licensing if I install OS from any another DVD/Flash Drive? Or is there any other way to get windows 10 without buying a new disk?


Please suggest me the best way to remove everything(including Partitions) on my PC and get Windows 10 back.

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
