    Windows 10 Reset Not Working


    Hi, I don't usually post on forums, so sorry if this seems unconventional in any way. For a long time now, I've had an issue with my PC where using the restart button that comes standard with Windows 10 would not work. I could click it and my computer screens would go black and seem to begin the restart process, but then they never come back on, despite my actual computer tower seeming to run with the fans, lights, etc. all working. If I use the physical power button on my tower, I can reboot it, which has worked for me thus far. Unfortunately, my computer has gotten slow due to an issue I have not resolved. I've tried multiple ways to speed it up, but I've gotten to the point of wanting to just reset it. The problem is that every method of resetting Windows 10 involves restarting it, which obviously does not work. My question is: Can I set it to reset upon booting up? Or otherwise, can I reset it without restarting?

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
