Windows 10: Windows 10 Reset or Refresh to reset Permissions and repair Recycle Bin

I recently purchased a new Acer Aspire 7 laptop with the following specifications:CPU = AMD Ryzen 5 5500UGPU = AMD Radeon Vega 7 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Mobile GDDR6RAM = 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz 2 8 GB sticks in dual channelStorage = 512 GB NVMe SSDOS = Windows 10 Home single languageI was messing around with the settings and I may have done something wrong with the Permissions and also corrupted the Recycle Bin.---My query is three fold:1. Should I reset or refresh in order to restore all Windows 10 permissions to default and repair Recycle Bin?2. Will resetting or refreshing remove the AMD

Did a Dell factory image reset but my recycle bin was still the same

If the reset did indeed format the drive then the recycle bin would have been wiped, however if you have a multi disk system it could be the recycle bin on another drive who's content you are seeing. The only other explanation is that the reset actually did a refresh (similar to a Windows repair install) which maintains existing user files, the contents of the recycle bin would then likely be preserved..

To prevent your files from being deleted from the Recycle Bin, we suggest increasing the maximum file size your Recycle Bin can keep by following the steps below:

• Right click on the Recycle Bin icon.
• Under the Settings for selected location, select Custom size.
• Fill up the box for your allotted maximum file size for your Recycle Bin.

We suggest that you reset the Recycle Bin folder to fix problems such as the Recycle Bin of your PC not working how it's supposed to. After the reset, Windows will automatically create a new Recycle Bin folder that will work.

To reset the Recycle Bin, follow the steps below:

• Open elevated Command Prompt by pressing the Windows key + X, and then click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• In the Command Prompt window, type the following command then press Enter:
  
  rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin

That command will reset the Recycle Bin in the C drive. After doing so, we also suggest that you run the System File Checker (SFC) scan and the Deployment Image Servicing & Management (DISM) tool to repair corrupted files in the system.

Here are the steps:

• On elevated Command Prompt, type SFC /scannow, and then press
  Enter.
• After the SFC scan has completed, type DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth, and then press
  Enter.
• Restart the PC.
