Windows 10: windows 10 right click folder properties missing

Hi,


In windows 10 when I make a right click on a folder and I choose the properties menu, there appears only two tabs, "General, and Previous Versions", instead of tabs General/Sharing/Security/Previous Versions/Customize. Does this problem has to do with missing registry keys, and if yes, how do I fix it without causing more problems?

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Sharing tab missing in Folder Properties on Windows 10

When right clicking on any folder and selecting properties, the tab "Sharing" is missing.

Things I have tried:

• Checking "Use Sharing Wizard (Recommended)" in Folder Options
• Enabling Network discovery and Sharing in Network settings
• Clicking Share at the top and selecting "Advanced Sharing Options"

None of these have worked.

This issue might occur if there is change in folder settings.



To assist you to better, please provided us the information below:

• Is the issue occurring with all the folder?
• Have you tried to create a new folder and checked its properties?

I suggest you to create a new folder on the computer and check its properties for Share tab.
