Windows 10: WINDOWS 10 RUNNING SUPER SLOW ... FORTNITE ONLY AT 7 FPS

Hello i have a windows 10 hp touchscreen 17.3 inch laptop

when i first started running fortnite i was getting like 30 to 40 fps consistantly

i did have the laptop in storage for some time may have aquired dust


all of the sudden my screen glitches sometimes when i close and open the laptop... the sound bar on the laptop makes weird noises sometimes as if there is a loose connection... im not sure

but the computer specs are as follows


windows 10 64 bit HOME edition

intel core i5-8250 cpu @ 1.6 ghz

12gb ram

1tb hard drive

17.3 in touch screen



SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME OPTIMIZE THIS COMPUTER it says the disks have no errors etc.... i can not figure out why my machine is running so slow

Super super super slow running Windows 10

I have a Samsung touch screen computer. I upgraded to Windows 10 a couple of months ago. I have Norton antivirus. A couple of weeks ago my computer started to run slow. I did a "go back to a known good date" reset. worked for a while. then started to slow
down. Now it takes over an hour from turning on computer to get to google web page. It works, but is super super slow. Do you have a suggestion to try so I dont lose my saved data. I have only got on set up (F8) once on many attempts. Thank you for any help.

 

Windows super slow.

I have a Core I3 and 4GB RAM notebook+AMD Processor with 2 GB desktop both with W10.it works even faster than 7.

Go to Control Panel>troubleshooting Run system Maintenance and check if it helps.
