    Windows 10 S mode & Malwarebytes

I'm using Windows 10 S mode and there was an attempt by a scammer to get me to down load Ultraviewer. I did not. I was advised to uninstall the file,. Also, I was instructed to run Microsoft Security Scanner and Malwarebytes. I have uninstalled the file and run the security scan. However, I cannot download Malwarebytes without leaving S mode. Is there a similar malware product in the Microsoft Store?

    :)

    3. In the list, find Windows Management Instrumentation, and double click it

    4. Change startup type to Automatic

    5. See if you can open Malwarebytes, if not, do a reboot.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
