I'm still concerned about the Short DST fail on the diagnostic. Usually it's a start of a hard drive failure. But, this isn't always the case. If I were you, I'd make an image just in case so you do not have to reinstall everything in the future.

 

Your very welcome mate, now may I suggest that you turn on system restore, create yourself a repair cd and create regular images on a external hard drive before you make any major changes so you don't end up in the same position again, also check that the images you make can be read by the repair cd.

Im sorry for saying this but, how do you mean there when you say that I should make an Image? How do I do that? I dont have a DVD Disc inserter on this laptop sadly enough..

 

How do I make a repair CD? Should I use the other laptop to create it or on this laptop that now works thanks to you guys! But I really dont know how to do it, the repair CD and the creating of an image :S

 

Right click the start menu go to control panel then Backup and Restore Windows 7, create a system repair disk

You have to right click the start menu in windows 10 *Wink

 

I dont have a DVD Drive, which blows way hard, and I would need a USB Drive which has about 1 TB of space, because the current USB Flashdrive that I normally use isnt exactly made for great things, only for like movies or something since it has room for 7.62 GB and not more

 

Ok extract the contents of the usb flash drive you used to install windows to a folder on your other PC and keep it safe it will act as a repair disk if needed just copy the contents back to the flash drive.

If the hard drive failed tests, replace it, restore the image backup and you should be all set. Then you can decide if you want to upgrade to Win 10 again.

Looks like I added to the confusion, sorry. I didn't realize there were many more pages of posts.

 

NP mate thing is to start from the beginning it wouldn't boot from usb that's where to start. Fix that and your rockin an a rollin however when multiple people are getting involved it just causes confusion for the OP and it's not good because the guy that can really help is lost in the many posts. crazy but you can;t stop children or nob heads making a post. now if he had not been so hasty he would still have all his files also
