Windows 10: Windows 10 script host

On a Windows 10 Pro desktop I have several VBS script files that run in the scheduler. Earlier this year after changing my domain password those scripts fail with error code 8000401A {the server process could not be started because the configured identity is incorrect)


On another comptuer with the same credentials those scripts run fine and still run fine after additional domain password changes so it looks like the issue is related to one specific comptuer.


any assistance is appreciated. I can run the scripts from another comptuer but would prefer to do it from mine.

Windows Script Host to stop 'Windows Script Host is disabled on this machine, contact your administrator for details'
message by following these steps:

• Press Windows + R to open Run.
• Type regedit and press Enter to open the
  Registry Editor.
• Navigate to this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings.
• On the right panel, double-click Enabled and change the
  Value data to 1.
• Save the changes and exit the Registry Editor.
  
  Note: Do not modify other keys on the Registry without having enough knowledge about that registry key as it may cause some failures on your PC
