    Windows 10, Scrolling Through Photos

I have a user for whom we just setup a brand new Windows 10 PC and he's having a very strange issue. Whenever he opens a photo and views it in Windows' default photo viewer, whether or not he is able to scroll/arrow to the next/previous photo seems to depend on which photo he opened.

So, to simplify. Let's say he has a folder with two photos in it, "A" and "B". If he opens photo "A", he cannot scroll/arrow to photo "B" even the arrow buttons don't appear overlayed on the image. But, if he opens photo "B", he can scroll/arrow to the next photo.

This behavior seems to apply to any photos in any folders, whether the folder is optimized for photos or not. Furthermore, the behavior doesn't seem to be an issue with the image files themselves since his previous PC Win 7 had no issues with those same photos and if we copy the photos to a different W10 PC they always work fine.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
