Windows 10: Windows 10 Search Bar and Memory Issues

Usually when I used to press the start button on my keyboard, i could start searching instantly. Now, sometimes, when I press start button, I have to move my cursor and click on the search bar/icon to search. its not as seamless as before. What happened.

I have 8GB of RAM.


Usually I am able to have a few chrome tabs open and then also have a game tab open too. But now the game crashes.

Usually I am able to have 10+ chrome tabs easily.

Now if I open more than 8 on youtube for example, it crashes and says "Out of Memory". So I check taskmanager and my RAM is only at 89% is that high?

I dont understand,. This morning i opened. Microsoft teams + a few chrome tabs. Both ended up crashing.

• Open Control Panel and type memory in the search bar.
• Click on Diagnose computer memory problems to open it.
• If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

• Are you getting any error message when you click on Search bar?

Try this method:

• First of all from Start Menu, open Settings (Type settings in the search bar and it will appear).
• locate and select “Update and Security“.
• in this window, Locate “Advanced Options”. Click on it.
• In Advanced Options; Click on “Choose How Updates are Delivered“.
• Turn off Updates from more than one place.
