  2. What is this task in task manager?

It would appear that my Windows install got corrupted, probably due to my tower being toppled over, being cut it off from power in the process. It could also be hardware damage as well, but I don't have the time or the money to fix it. BUT I don't see what
this has to do with a random Windows process.

Thanks for the help anyway! Windows 10 setup running in task manager. Is this normal? :D

  3. What is this task in task manager?

I'm Greg, a volunteer installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

What I'd do is eliminate the possibility of infection, damaged System files and turn off all Startup Freeloaders and then you don't need to worry about it absent any performance problems which we can handle separately.

So do Steps 4, 7 and 11 from this Checklist:
    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

If it passes all those steps and there are any further performance problems I'd complete the rest of them.

But remember that Factory or Upgrade installs are inferior installs which most enthusiasts won't even run because they'd expect endless issues. Consider doing the Clean Install in this link which compiles the best possible install that will stay that way as
long as you stick with the tools and methods given:
    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

There is also an automated Refresh that reinstalls WIndows while shedding corrupting factory bloatware, saves your files, but doesn't clear the drive to get it cleanest:

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

According to my reply to your post, as of right now, it has been 3 hours since you posted. Look at the Task Manager now, does it still have Windows 10 Setup running with a high percent? If it's no longer there, then yes.. Windows must've been doing some Windows Updates. But if it's still there, do like the previous post says, look at Windows Update real quick.

Windows Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update
