Windows 10: Windows 10 Sleep Mode

Hi everyone, I have this annoying issue with the Wake from Sleep mode in Windows 10.


I have 2 Desktop PCs running, sharing keyboard and mouse via a Ugreen switch.


BIOS is set to allow wake from kbd & mouse on both PCs.


Devices in device manager are set to allow wake from kbd & mouse and 'Allow computer to turn off device...' for the USB Root hub and all other USB devices is unchecked.


Power mode is set to Never turn off anything screens & HDD are always on.


Sleep mode is enabled but is configured to not turn off screen or HDD after a set time either set to 'Never' or '0' in the 'minutes before turn off' dialogue.


If I manually put a PC to sleep and then try and wake using kbd or mouse, it works fine but only if I do it within half an hour or so, otherwise I have to press the power button on the front of the PC to wake it. It all comes back fine.


Prior to disabling the timed sleep mode, I had it set to put the PC to sleep after 60 minutes. Whenever the system put the PC to sleep it would never wake up from kbd or mouse, but, if i put it to sleep manually it would always wake up from kb or mouse, no matter how long it was asleep - even coming on the next morning when I press a key or move the mouse.


Removing the Ugreen keyb/mouse switch and plugging-in kbd and mouse to each PC makes no difference.


I've trawled through numerous threads on this subject but nothing in them helps. Any more ideas?

Windows 10 wont stay in sleep mode

yes, it was already off.

its waking up one hour after it sleeps for about 2 minutes, then sleeping again. How the eff can i track what it does in that time if nothing shows in powerCFG or the event log?
