    Windows 10 slow copy and cut speed


    I regularly move files from drive C to other drives. It used to be that files were moved instantly. Now, however, it takes minutes to move them. The speed is now very slow and often drop to kilobytes per seconds. Moving files from the same drive is still as fast as usual, even dozens of gigabytes can be moved immediately, but moving a 100 mb file from other drives is slow. I have tried fragmenting my disk and updating but to no avail.

    Slow Data copy/paste SPEEDS in WINDOWS 10


    Hello Guyz, I encountered a problem after upgrading to windows 10. I had extremely slow data transfer speed from any storage media. I myself found a fix for it. I didn't have this prob in win 7. I hope that u understand.

    Copy speed very slow in windows 10

    Using NAS Network mirror drive SATA to NEW USB3 thumb drive.

    If downloading from the 120 MB Internet to the NAS, speed is constant.

    PC SATA to NAS, speed is high.

    The USB 3 starts out high, then drops off.
