Windows 10: Windows 10 slow startup on Acer v5-571 laptop

Why is the Acer v3-571 laptop so slooooooow to startup with Windows 10?



I've tried clean re-installing Windows 10 with all files data deleted. turned off startup files and windows defender. NOTHING WORKS!!!!


Why does Windows 10 take forever to start up on this laptop? PLEASE HELP.

Why is the Acer v3-571 laptop so slooooooow to startup with Windows 10?

I've tried the "clean boot troubleshooting", defrag, updating drivers (not all can be updated), turning off startup items, checking for malware, checking the hard drive with Seatools (it passes), resetting the BIOS settings to defaults, re-installing Windows
10 with and without secure boot BIOS option, sfc /scannow and so on. NOTHING WORKS!!!!

Why does Windows 10 take forever to start up on this laptop? PLEASE HELP.

Before we proceed, I would like you to provide the information stated below:

1. How much allotted free space do you have in your c: drive?

2. Do you have any third party anti virus installed in your PC?

For now, I would suggest that you disable your antivirus and check if your computer is still slow upon start up.



Disclaimer: Antivirus software helps protecting your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software and\or
troubleshoot any pertinent issue, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you are connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to malware attacks.


If the issue still persist, I would suggest that you place your computer in Safe Mode and check if it still slows down upon startup. Safe mode starts Windows in a basic state, using a limited set of files and drivers. It can help you troubleshoot problems
on your PC.

I would also suggest that you refer to the article Free up drive space in
Windows 10 to help you clear your temp files, downloaded files, un-use programs etc that may hoard your drive space leading to slow PC function.

I would suggest you to run the hardware and device troubleshooter and check.

Try these steps to run the troubleshooter:

• Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
  
• Click view all in the left panel.
• Select ‘Hardware and devices' and follow the on-screen instructions.
  

Please also update chipset drivers from the computer manufacturer's website
and check the issue.
